Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building AI-powered military systems. The Hardware Test Data Operations team is seeking an Analytics Engineer to own data infrastructure and analytical tools that power hardware testing across Anduril's product portfolio.
You will take defined work-streams end-to-end—from data ingestion pipelines and modeling through dashboards and supporting services—enabling the team to run more testing streams in parallel. This is a foundational role in a new team within Hardware Test, where you'll drive high-impact changes to how the organization collects, analyzes, and leverages test data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own data workstreams end-to-end: ingestion, Foundry transforms, ontology modeling, dashboards, and consuming tools
- Build and maintain Foundry pipelines, data models, and data quality checks
- Create internal-facing dashboards and analytics products for flight test engineers, managers, and leadership
- Write small production services in Python or Go (webhooks, bridges, daemons) when needed
- Partner directly with Hardware Test leads, software engineering, and infrastructure teams on data contracts and ingestion patterns
- Write design docs and RFCs to align stakeholders before shipping code
Required: 3+ years owning data systems end-to-end; strong Python and SQL with DataFrame experience (Pandas, PySpark, Polars); hands-on pipeline ownership from ingestion to downstream consumer; REST API and webhook integration experience; internal dashboard/analytics product experience; comfort on small teams with fluid scope; data product owner mindset; clear technical writing; ontology or heterogeneous data modeling experience; U.S. Persons status for export-controlled data access.
Preferred: Palantir Foundry experience; robotics, aerospace, defense, or hardware data environment background; comfort with non-Python languages (Go, Nix, Terraform); agentic coding tools; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
